Fit Finder
Frequently Asked Questions
The short version: we only list brands we can verify against real garment measurements — 121 so far. Everything below explains what that means in practice.
Why isn't [Brand] in Fit Finder?
Fit Finder only includes brands with a verified source for garment measurements — waist, inseam, rise, and leg opening, not just a size label. If a brand you wear isn't listed, it usually means we haven't verified their data yet, not that we've ruled them out.
How do you decide which brands to include?
We add a brand once we find a source for its measurements — either the brand's own published size chart or a retailer that measures inventory in-house. No source, no listing, regardless of how well-known the brand is.
Can I request a brand?
Yes — tell us which one and we'll look into its size charts. We check requests in the order they come in, and prioritize the ones we hear about most.
How often is the measurement data updated?
There's no fixed schedule — we add new data as sources publish it, and re-check existing entries when a brand re-cuts a fit.
How are measurements reported?
Every number here comes from a brand's or a retailer's own published chart, so the conventions are theirs, not ours. Waist is reported doubled, the full measurement around the waistband, which is why a pair tagged 32 can read 32.5. Hip, thigh, knee, and leg opening are reported flat, across one side of the garment. Front rise, back rise, and inseam are straight lengths. Where a source publishes an un-doubled waist, we double it on the way in, so every waist on the site means the same thing.
