Blue Blue Japan Denim
BLUE BLUE JAPAN is a label of Seilin & Co., the Tokyo company behind Hollywood Ranch Market, which started as a clothing store in 1972. Its BLUE BLUE line began with a denim shirt made in the early 1980s, and BLUE BLUE JAPAN followed in 1996, with its flagship store, OKURA, in Daikanyama. The brand focuses on denim and indigo that change as they are worn, made in Japan and often hand-dyed with natural indigo from sukumo, or fermented indigo leaves. Its jeans include Japanese-made selvedge denim with rope-dyed indigo warp.
