GOLD Denim
Launched in 2012, GOLD is a label developed by Toyo Enterprise, the Tokyo clothing manufacturer founded in 1965 that also makes Sugar Cane, Buzz Rickson’s, Sun Surf, and Tailor Toyo. It describes its approach as “modern vintage,” reworking early to mid-20th-century American workwear and military details into updated silhouettes using its parent’s vintage reproduction research. Its Japanese-made denim includes an original fabric that blends Suvin cotton with separately collected waste fibers, woven on shuttle looms to bring out an uneven texture and neps.
Actual garment measurements for all 2 GOLD models in the Fit Finder: waist through leg opening, with widths measured flat and the waist doubled.
