Gramicci Denim

Founded in 1982 by Yosemite climber Mike Graham, Gramicci began in his garage in California, where he made what the brand calls the first true climbing shorts and pants. Graham added a diamond-shaped gusset borrowed from kung-fu trousers for freedom of movement, plus a webbing belt that adjusts with one hand. The name comes from Michelangelo Gramicci, a joke alter ego from a Half Dome climb. In 2017, the company relocated to Japan under the ownership of Itochu Corporation.

Actual garment measurements for all 1 Gramicci models in the Fit Finder: waist through leg opening, with widths measured flat and the waist doubled.

Unisex-tagged models show under both Women's and Men's.
