Knickerbocker Denim
Knickerbocker was launched in 2013 by Andrew Livingston and partners, who bought a New York factory whose history goes back about 60 years and kept its machines and patterns. The brand started with caps, the factory’s original product, before expanding into clothing, using a mix of early 20th-century and newer machines. Its workwear-inspired line includes chore coats, trousers, and shirts in European and Canadian wools and Japanese and Carolina denims. Its K102 jean is cut from rope-dyed Candiani selvedge denim from Italy and made in Portugal.
