New Manual Denim

New Manual is an Okayama-based denim brand directed by Yutaka Fujihara, a vintage denim advisor and director of the vintage store BerBerJin. It reexamines items from past eras through a modern lens, basing its pieces on specific vintage garments, including the oldest jeans in Fujihara’s own collection. The brand’s washes and wear are done by hand by the New Manual team. Its jeans are made in Japan, and one of its signatures is the T-back detail found in Fujihara’s designs.
