Founded in Japan in 2005 by Ichiro Nakatsu, orSlow takes its name from “original” and “slow,” describing a careful, unhurried way of making clothes. The brand reworks timeless workwear and military-derived basics through its own lens, with attention to handwork and detail throughout. Its garments are made in Japan with skilled artisans and factories, and its denim, built with traditional Japanese weaving techniques, was among the first things the brand became recognized for.
