Raleigh Denim Workshop Denim

Raleigh Denim Workshop was founded in Raleigh, North Carolina, in 2008 by husband-and-wife team Victor Lytvinenko and Sarah Yarborough, who learned their craft by taking jeans apart and restoring old machines salvaged from closed factories. The family-owned company still makes its jeans on those vintage machines in its workshop on West Martin Street, where each pair is cut, sewn, and finished by one jeansmith who signs the inside pocket. Its Original Denim carries a tinted weft designed to fade to a soft vintage blue, and its Alexander is cut from Vidalia Mills denim woven on Draper X3 looms that once ran at Cone Mills’ White Oak plant.
