Studio Nicholson Denim

Studio Nicholson is a London label launched in 2010 by founder and creative director Nick Wakeman, which began by reworking altered menswear pieces into clothes for women. Menswear followed in 2017, and the brand now has shops in London, Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Beijing, Shanghai, and Seoul. Its design follows a form-follows-fabric philosophy, with voluminous silhouettes, clean and boxy denim, and sculptural outerwear. Its denim pants, from the straight Riso and Barra to the wide Chalco and Paolo, are cut from fabrics that vary by style, including Japanese cotton and Italian denim.
