Tellason Denim

Tellason was founded in San Francisco around 2009 by Tony Patella and Pete Searson, friends since 1990, who started the brand during the downturn of 2008 and 2009. Its jeans, denim jackets, and shirts are cut and sewn in San Francisco, using denim from Cone Mills and Kaihara, and the brand has committed to making its jeans there permanently. The jeans are sold without pre-washing, leaving the wearer to shape the fade over time. Tellason launched with a single model, the John Graham Mellor, and encourages repairing worn pieces.
