About Orgueil
Orgueil is a label under Studio D’Artisan, the Osaka denim maker, and takes its name from a French word for pride. It blends refined European menswear of the late 1800s and early 1900s with sturdy American workwear, and everything is made in Japan. Its Tailor Jeans draw on workwear and tailoring from the 1930s and 1940s and were first cut from 13oz, 100% Zimbabwe cotton denim milled by Studio D’Artisan. The brand’s leather patch shows its tailor mascot, Mr. Elmwoods.
